Flashing Date
During the update, I see that the flashing date for old threads has been removed. This was actually very useful and I'm disappointed that it was removed since it prevented me from answering age old questions by accident. Any chance that it will return?

can't say I noticed it helping too many back in the old system
but I have to agree, it was a useful little addition
so now I'm in my SIXTIES FFS
WTAF, how did that happen, so no more alterations to the sig, it will remain as is now

I think it would be nice for there to be some sort of 'quiz' to become a member, including a question on flashing dates, so that these new people are forced to read the rules, so they don't just 'jump' in and post before they know what should and shouldn't be done.

We may use a different method of preventing answering resolved threads.

Yeah, for me flashing dates fall under the same irritating banner as animated avatars and big horrible signatures. Why don't we get some pop up ads while we're at it?
