    Microsoft Investigating Possible Word 0Day

    Hey Hey,

Microsoft is investigating a possible 0-day in Word and Works... I've posted a small blurb on it as well as links to the MS and ISC sites.

    Peace,

HT...no mention as to whether Word 97 is included??

Yes...MS doesnt support it any more.....but they cannot deny that several users still run the Office 97 suite....and MS has sold it to them??

I am thinking...just disallow MS office attachments altogether...then eveyone will have to use something else.......

You think MS would like that??

First thread beneath the calendar on the front page has it

Apparently Office 97 isn't included, I know that it isn't supported, but MS do tend to mention all products that they are aware of?

    Sorry Nihil

I was just at the MS site....no mention of 97....whether it was included...or excluded.

I guess they want to be as ambiguous about it as possible....not wanting to piss off all those people who went and spent hundreds of dollars upgrading ...due to support and security issues.

    They may start asking...why??
