    Pinnacle PCTV hybrid pro Stick

    Hello all!
This week I tested a lot of TV Tuners and always without success . First I bought a PCMCIA TV Tuner and later I found out that I have an expressCard slot and not PCMCIA

Then I took an ExpressCard TV Tuner, but the TV quality was miserable.

Today I changed it for USB tuner from Pinnacle.

The quality is good, but I'm having a very strange problem.

The picture and the sound are not synchronized. And that is nerving me.

When I use the time shifting everything is OK.

It is funny to watch the data from the Task manager. The TV program is using only 5%!!!

How it is possible then, that the sound and the picture are not synchronized?

    Any ideas?

i think it just depends on the software you use. 5% cpu means your tv tuner probably has a mpeg-decoder on it, which is a good thing. if the time-shifting works, i wouldnt worry about it. try nvidia's purevideo decoder, i get the best results and most compatibility with it.

At the moment, I'm in contact with the support of pinnacle. (I will keep you informed what will come out)
Yes, it is coming from the software - I tried chrisTV and with it there are no problems. (the only one is that I must pay 40 $ for it and I already paid 99€ for the tuner )
