    Problem with IE7

    Hi there all

I keep recieving this error upon closing IE.

"The instruction at "0x6c371351" referenced memory at "0x000000004". The memory could not be "read".

    Any ideas?

    Nihil: Xp sp2

Thanks for the forum, seems everyone is having the problem. Going to reinstall it...

Apparently it was a yahoo messenger addon that was causing it to crash. Thanks for that forum.

Nothing wrong with IE7, just crashes with yahoo addons.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

I would just go into internet options and uncheck 'Enable third party browser extensions'. This will not allow any add-on tools to Internet Explorer. Also, pervent 3rd party applications from doing this in the first place.
