What I find even more interesting is the release of a "hotfix" that isn't associated with an Advisory that was downloaded by all XP SP2 Machines yesterday... It was moved from "If you need it" to "mandatory" and fixes a Race Condition in the Memory Manager.
To me that sounds like a security risk... but meh
As a side here's the list of CVE's that are apparently covered by SP2 (http://isc.sans.org/diary.html?storyid=2454)
[Update] I finally finished my blog post on the subject.

LOL HT i love the title that you have chosen to use:>
Introducking the Amazing, Wonderful and Completely Magnificent Microsoft the Magician...
and the first sentence completes it:>
… and for his first trick, Ladies and Gentlemen, he will make Windows Server 2003 SP2 appear magically in front of you… as though out of thin air.
So i take it that the rumours were true, that magic does happen at Redmond..
nice post up none the less.
cheers
