i found the sheer amount of data they are dealing with to be unbelieveable.

By 2010, IDC expects the volume of data created and copied to rise six fold to 988 exabytes, reflecting a compound annual growth rate of 57%

it seems that the sheer amount of data is forcing google to start deleting the stuff. heh, i always knew this had to be of some sort of concern. nice that google gets to spin it by saying "well were going to make things more private", taking a step out of the government's book i suppose.
