Installing Beryl?
Hey,
Is it possible to run Beryl using a geforce 7900 card in windows XP? I would like to install Beryl in my PC but I was told that I need fglrx (apparently some ATI driver) to install Beryl.
Is there any ways or alternatives? Is it possible to install Ubuntu on dual OS along with my XP?
I would greatly appreciate your help cause I am not familiar with these stuffs.
Thanks in advance!

Beryl is an X windowing system window/composite manager. So, no, you cannot run beryl on XP. You would need X with the nvidia driver.
I'm running FreeBSD 6.2-stable, Xorg R7.2rc3 and the FreeBSD Nvidia driver, Beryl runs fine on that. If you use the proprietary Nvidia driver it should also work with Xorg 6.9.
Installing Ubuntu and dual booting XP<->Ubuntu is possible.
