    to drive with any passengers 16
    to have consensual sex 16
    to vote, use tobacco, act as your
    own contracts, financially 18
    drink alcohol 21

    18 kinda sucks if you look at it

    you are old enough to go and fight for your country in war...
    but you are not old enough to drink away your horrible memories of death afterwards...

    Trust me, you will have no issue finding alcohol while in the service, especially when deployed. No such thing as a drinking age on a battlefield.
