Well considering im in college getting a degree in computer science...... Yea I think im just gonna get something different. Do you guys know anything about how it works getting financing through a store so i can make payments?

your gonna pay high interest rates going through a store...here in Canada anyway.
May be best to get the money from the bank at a lower interest rate...also cash inhand usually allows for extras thrown in...let them know you are walking across the street to see what they have to offer
Its amazing some of the deals, discounts rebates or upgrades you can get...

So if I were to go through my band would I apply for a personal loan or a student load?

I guess that depends on your bank?
Over here student loans are generally for your education and are paid back over a longer period. I would guess that a PC would be a personal loan.

check with your school about a new computer. Some places offer special deals and payment plans. My work does for example through dell. May be worth a looksee

I already checked through the school....They dont offer anything. Im getting ready to go to the bank right now so well see what happens.
