Thats why the RIAA sues 12 year olds then it ends up being the parents fault :-/
I absolutely hate the RIAA for doing that. But that little bitch was one of the major file servers they went after. Something like 20,000 songs being munched up by others on a continual basis. Imaging getting a knock on the door to the police about your "little angel". While you are eating popcorn and drinking a beer oblivious to what even P2P means let alone how it works.

Well yeah that does happen where a child shares a ton of music but its hard for a child that young to grasp the legal issue of licensing on music...

Maybe but when I was 12 I knew that making mix tapes and trading them with my friends was technically illegal. I think we tend to "baby" kids too much.
That is some nostalgia... mix tapes. lol.

Hmmm,
Here is the British Broadcasting Corporation's (our official State radio and TV provider)
"How to make a mix tape"
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/onemusic...tapesp01.shtml
Basically "mix tapes" are ignored, compilations are questionable.

I just think a lot of kids think the music is "free" since it is so available.

I think they are well aware, they just think that they won't get caught ............ over here and in other countries that is probably true, but only because no-one is looking for them ............ in the USA it certainly is not

That's because we have a bunch of a-holes in congress on both sides of the fence. I am voting for NADER!
