A remote control for a non media center pc?

Hello all,
I have been looking for a remote control for my computer running windows xp that will allow me to control things like my winamp or windows media player from afar but i dont have Media center.

Do i have any options???

Actually this stuff has been around for ages..........my first Win 95 box had one. In fact, the first review in the right hand column is the exact device

You certainly don't need Windows Media Center.
