Zero for Owned? (milw0rm picking on me - I'm confused)
Hi All,
I've been a member for quite awhile but I only have a few posts. I do way more reading than posting. Regardless, I am thankful in advance for any input on this post.
Recently, I was searching for my username in Google to see what turns up because I wanted to see what forums I used to visit in the past. I only use this username for forums and nothing important. I found my junkmail address in a milw0rm zine archive page (http://www.milw0rm.com/papers/95). If you visit the link, the page's author writes about "owning" script kiddies because they are all talk; my personality is nothing like a script kiddie or a person who brags.
I researched milw0rm on various sites because I didn't know what the hell it was (other than some cracker site - the name kinda gives that away). I read about their "hacktivist" attitude and some of their past targets. What does a Yahoo email address have to do with making a statement?
If anyone has any experience with this type of situation please chime in.
Thanks,
Nick =0)
EDIT: Figured out BB code for hyperlinks and changed post to include link.

Milw0rm is not a "cracker" site. It's a place to find PoC code.
This probably says it all:
If you get mentioned, you got owned.

Perhaps this link is more explanatory:
http://66.102.9.104/search?q=cache:y...ient=firefox-a
It doesn't look like POC code to me
Nick, read the intro again: the author is having a go at a rival site (h0no?).

nihil,
Thank you for the helpful input. I'm not a memeber of Coder Underground so I'm not sure why my email address is listed in that heading. I don't think there's much reason to worry about my junkmail account since it's an email address and not a compromised machine like some of that person's list. Thanks again for the help.
