No video card? No Problem! USB monitors!

With the use of an onboard video signal decompresser, USB monitors can actually function without a graphics card at resolutions up to 1600x1200 at 24bit color. It can run on some pretty low-end equipment without bogging down, too. You can even chain 2-4 monitors on one USB port! You don't get any 3D acceleration (since it's handled by the GPU of a graphics card), but everything 2D seems to work just fine. Another cool feature is that the drivers are loaded into the monitor itself, so no install CDs are required.

They have actually had usb video cards for a while believe it or not
