    What GSM SIM?? what ISP?...............

Why would India be any different from anywhere else?

Why do you want to clone??? Thats illegal... so many people from mumbai were caught and jailed for the act.

    Would be nice

It would be nice to have two phones, one for the week and one for the weekend. I have a big bulky WM5 phone, and really only need it during the week. Unfortunately, my phone doesn't have a sim card.

I was doing just that. I have a blackberry that I use all week. However, on the weekend I don't always need the features and bulkiness of my BB and just want a phone. I just pop out the sim and put it in another phone and I'm good to go. If I need mobile internet or GPS or whatever, I can simply switch back to the BB if I need it.

I shouldn't think so............... after all you are paying for the service not the SIM card?

It might violate your contract though?

I would think it doesnt as long as you dont use them at the same time. Like a lot of A/V's they actually allow you to install it on a desktop and laptop as long as you do not use them at the same time.
