Internet Explorer 7 Question
I have a message at top of internet explorer screen that says
"Internet Explorer is currently running with add-ons disabled"
SO, what can be done to correct this?
By the way I have a Fixed XP version and IE7 version as well....can't go to MS for fix.
Thanks in advance

Open IE7 click on Tools, go down to Manage add-ons, then select enabled if you want them enabled.

Well, when I go to "Manage ad-ons" I cannot click on it> I see it but it is faint and not like the rest of items under tools.

This may work:
It seems that IE is launched always from "All Programs"->"Accessories"->"System Tools".
Checking the properties of IE shortcut in this location shows that IE is launched with additional parameter "-extoff" (look at the "Target"). This may mean that switch off all "Add-ons" before start IE. Then even "Manage Add-ons" under "Tools" is grayed.
The IE shortcut which you used to launch IE must have same situation. Just deleting "-extoff" will give you a normal IE with enabled Add-ons.
Good luck

Well, I do not use IE often, but I tested the 7th avtar when it was in Beta stage. In that stage, I found that most of the time, IE would launch only in Add-ons diabled mode.
Are you using the final version or still stuck to beta?

A point to note, if you run the REIS (reset IE settings) option in IE7 it will automatically disable your ad-ons:
