    problems installing a file shredder

Once upon a time I installed a file shredding software onto windows server. This software was only the trial version so after about 30 days it expired.
Couple months later I decided to get the full version and tried to install it on the same machine (after uninstalling the trial version).
The problem is, after the installation runs I try to run the software and it says "Demo/Trial version expired" and I can't use my software.

I've tried a few registry cleaners and even went into the registry myself and searched for anything that possibly could be related to this application. Granted I don't know too much about where certain registry entrys are made upon installation I still feel I got most/all of it. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this trial version?
    Thanks guys.

what software is it? I can probably use our remote install software to tell you what registry keys are changed when you install the trial.

Failing that, make sure the directory is completely gone as well as registry keys.
Also, make sure you got the keys under "local machine" and "current user"

Last ditch try cleaning out the install shield folder too.

The software is SecureClean by WhiteCanyon.
I've tried to delete all folders/files reguarding this software, but still no luck.
I know its the full version because I've installed it on a different computer just to make sure.

    What does the vendor say??

    umm...reg editing a server...sounds like fun.

Had to hack Norton CE out of an install once....

I think that you need to uninstall it then delete these folders:

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional\RunTime

    C:\Program Files\WhiteCanyon\SecureClean 4

    Then reboot and reinstall.
