    Slackware 12

    Now released:

    http://www.slackware.com/announce/12.0.php

Looks like Kernel 2.6 is standard now. Also the new stuff seems fun. When I have some time to test drive it I'll give my opinion. I brought my laptop back with me from the US so now I have a machine to test on

Even though it's still running Slackware 10.2 ( I don't want to reinstall the Jolt Cola theme on Windows Maker yet lol).

Huh, guess I haven't been keeping up. I'm off to get the isos now.

Well first off you need to establish if your wireless card is supported under linux.

Open a terminal and type: lspci -v | less

Scroll down until you find your wireless card.

A list of cards supported that use ndiswrapper is located here:
    http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/j...id,33/id,list/

    For further info check:

Bah. Every mirror I check no longer carries ISO's for it. Anyone know of one that still has them up?

The mirrors aren't offering the iso's yet due to the swarm of traffic that could hit their servers. Use the bitt torent links, their seeded well and you should get the iso's quick enough.
