Unhappy Locked out my OWN drive !!!

    Greeting's..

My days are not getting any better.. I'm not locked out of my own drive.. The situation was that I asked someone to connect the drive on a IP since I wasn't at the location where my drive was...

I told him to remove everyone from the list of access permission and add my ID (domain power user and local administrator).. But the jerk removed his OWN ID(local ADMINISTRATOR, plus he set DENY TO EVERYONE ) before adding my ID with the read and write permission..

NOW NO ONE CAN ACCESS THE DRIVE.. I NEED TO STORE ABOUT 23 GB data on it.. (its an Iomega external 80 GB drive).. I am sure I can access it through a Live CD.. But I would prefer to just reset permission's. Since I'm not going to that location...

    Is that possible ?!

Take ownership of the files. That will reset the ACLs.

Exactly as SirDice said - log in as a local admin and take ownership of the drive.
