    collecting logs from several server....

    I have two server on a win 2k3 and an ubuntu server....is there a way to send the auth.log fro ubuntu and the security event viewer logs from the win machine to a client pc........I know there is a SNMP way to this but I don't remember right know, if someone could point me in the right direction

    I'd just write a perl script to use telnet or ftp or ssh
