    oofki...

I am not sure what your problem is....but I bet you its hard to pronounce

I did see a couple of drivers listed that made me think this was a laptop..so I asled the question...does anyone else see a problem with that

All I am doing is trying to help the OP with the issue....

Unlike you who has offered absolutely no help whatso ever with your infinite wisdom....as per usuall

Well, I am junior boy here. But I really do not believe that experts and seniors like you and that too on a forum called as ANTINONLINE do indulge in silly flame wars!?? Is it ayet another useless argument fight ground? can;t we think over the real problem than flaming? I did not get anything very useful from this thread as I get from others (those which I understand).

Anyways, I would go with a fresh load of windows and all the new drivers you can find. If it still does that chances are it is hardware related. From there I would say it has to do with the gfx card which is part of the motherboard and with a card like that on it, um it would be very pricey. Maybe its under waranty?

the problem here is it could just be a driver issue...which again could possibly be resolved if tested in safe mode.

Another of the very stupid "dumbass" questions I asked.

Would be a shame to have to reinstall...if it is just a driver issue..

Yes you are right it could be a driver issue, but it could also be a windows issue, or a hardware issue. You can't test games in safemode most of the services wont even start. So you could start by replacing all of the drivers that could be related to the problem. I recommend a fresh install though if possible it never hurts to have a new install of XP :-)

Ahh I missed that line I had to go back and re-read it. Thank you for pointing that out ever so kindly.

In that case if you do try safe mode choose "safe mode with networking" so you can test your emails as well.

Try a boot CD. Something like Knoppix (live Linux CD) or Bart PE, and let it run awhile. Ultimate Boot CD has some burnin tools that might be useful. HTH.
