    Question HijackThis entry

I did a HijackThis scan, and everything seems to be alright, except for one entry that I cannot seem to find much out about.

    O20 - Winlogon Notify: winqad32 - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winqad32.dll
I searched google, and found some HJT logs that had that, but on hijackthis.de, it had a question mark and no description. As far as the google search went, there wasn't a clear description that I could find. Anyone here seen it?

    I am running MSWinXP SP2...

    Thanks in advance

    Hi westin,

"The Beast must die!"........................ kill it. I don't know what it is, but on my quick research of the net there was a 100% consensus to get rid of it.

I suspect that it produces pop-ups, but you may have a pop-up blocker that is killing them so you don't see anything unusual.

I have XP SP2 fully patched, and I do not have that file. To be on the safe side, I would recommend making a copy of it like winquad32.bak, then get HJT to fix it.
