    Hah!

You are in Marina Del Rey........... so am I............. you owe me BEER

It is probably not an anonymiser. Over the years IP address blocks have been re-assigned amongst ISPs, so a lot of the old "free" listings are incorrect.

    Please try this:

    http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm?GetLocation

    and then, this:

    http://www.ip-adress.com/

At least they got my country correct.

    EDIT:

If you use the "IP Locator" at the bottom of the "Site Menu" on our front page, you will most likely get a false location, as it uses a database that hasn't been updated for several years.

nihil u are write as i also used my home IP back in india which also was showen some where in US well that was never possible as that is IP which does not even carry ne anonymizer as it is just a normal residential PC

O yes i also used whois which gave me some owner in USA where as that was not correct and again the location of the owner was in califonia lolz

ne ways over here there many thing banned and no functional so i guess i need to work with a anonymizer of some other country and may be try then i hope i would work

ne ways this was just a doubt for me which is i think now much clearer then
b4 as it is its not that important where i surf from but i must atleast know my identity on the internet that is the only thing i was looking for

ne ways thx a lot again for the beautiful reply "Nihil"

    regards
