that was probably some bs written up by someone who didn't know a whole lot about what he was looking at. there would be no need to include an encrypted password in the url. once authenticated all you need is a session id, which is what it probably was.

as far as GPF's problem, no that's not what i meant by activity. I mean someone with a completely different writing style is actively using it as of that date. So, I guess the question to solve the mystery here is: who were you attached to, when, where and how did you get there (who took you)? Fobbie? Please answer all in detail. Otherwise, leave other people's accounts alone...

    xiphias360,

Are you suggesting that this account is active, but with a different user?

Why am I just logging into one of my trash accounts?

    What will I find?

Well I'm not calling GPF a liar or anything, I'm just saying he's not telling the truth...

HA. that should be the new protocol. As soon as someone asks for help to hack an email account, we ask for the email address, send the owner a link to this forum... sit back and laugh =)

For reals, lol. Did this guy really think he jump on a forum full of security professionals and talk his way into someone else's account?

BTW mox, the name on that page is the actual owner of the account. He says he's had it since 2000. He's also a board of director for Iraq Verterans Against the War (ivaw.org). Hmmm.. motive, perhaps??
