Dear Mr. Bowles,
I believe you are the owner of this email address.
You don't know me and that doesn't matter. I was just looking through an old thread on AntiOnline that I created and I found that some people had identified you. I was GPF, the person trying to get into gridburn@hotmail.com.
I apologize for this. At the time I truly believed that I had created that account and forgotten the password. It's a nickname I have used in many places and I had never found it used before.
I am sorry for any undue stress the thought of someone trying to hack your account might have caused you.
Sincerest Apologies,
Chris.
PS. I am curios as to how you came up with Gridburn as an email, please let me know.

hmmm.. I didn't know people still have consciences. I'll have to take note of that.
I think what he's saying is that he uses the same handle as someone else (gridburn). He is saying now that he really didn't know the hotmail account was someone else's, so when he was trying to log onto the account, it wouldn't let him, and he tried to get the account back.
As for why he's sorry about it three years later, and thinks this other gridburn will even see this post, I have absolutely no idea.

I doubt he'll see it, that's why I emailed him. I just thought I'd post it here as well for the benefit of all those involved in the discussion.
