between finishing the touches on the house
I know your pain on that one (just bought a condo). I never thought I'd be excited by a new couch, or ceiling registers, or a good primer that actually covers up sh*tty paint jobs.

I also learned quite a few valuable lessons as well.
  • don't sand exposed wiring
  • when you paint, try to get some on the wall
  • paint chips do not taste like chicken
  • you cannot spackle huge holes by applying gobs and gobs of spackle
  • If your electrical wiring job doesn't seem to work (no matter how many times you flip the circuit breaker on/off), try turning the light switch back on

Anyways, good luck with the house. hack the planet!
