    Come on now =)
for all you know it could be me in Missouri...

Lets all just blame it on Norton for even telling him he had an intrusion!
(software is easier to blame than people, people blame back)

ok guys, just realised something, port 9472 is used by the torrent program im using (bitlord) so maybe someones connection is being misinterpreted as an nmap null scan. anyway it looks like he's finally stopped. although, ive noticed a few strange looking files turning up, which i havent made. one called dxva_sig.txt which only has "B" written in it, and one called zia03424

so maybe someones connection is being misinterpreted as an nmap null scan.
That seems like the most logical conclusion at this point.

The dxva_sig.txt doesn't seem to be malware from what I've read on other boards (seems like a possible media player issue) and I couldn't find much on zia03424.

Giving bad or wrong information isn't exactly helpful is it?

That said, mox~ seems old enough to fend himself.

I said he was trying to be helpful. And while I may not be clairvoyant, I'm willing to gamble that Mox provided that information free of malicious intent. What do you think?

Fair enough. I'll remember that the next time you make a simple mistake regardless of intent. And don't whine when I read you the riot act.

It isn't. You're man enough to admit the mistake and defend yourself.

Hence no need for Shagdevil to say I'm a *****. He's the one being the real ***** about it. And that's the last I'm going to say about it.
