    Have a look in Control Panel, Power Options, tab UPS.

    Does the UPS have a serial connection? Connect that to the PC also.

    Nope, there is only a usb connection. On the back of the UPS is says COM PORT to be axact.

    To test UPS, unplug the main power lead from it, same as a power outage!

    Windows 2000 onwards has UPS management capabilities, as SirDice has described.

    I guess you will have to set it up as "generic"
