Looking for an advanced FTP client software

    Hi all,
I want to upload some files to my website. So I am looking for an advanced FTP client software solution designed for ease of use by both novices and professionals. It should be powerful and secure file transfer solution. It should also have total control, security, efficiency, and simplicity. If you people have any idea then please let me know.
    Thanks in advance!

FTP is never secure.. But ws_ftp is a nice FTP client..

If you can use SSH you may want to try WinSCP.

Given that so few people use FTP these days, a lot of people tend to forget that WinSCP also has FTP support. This makes it the best of both works and an awesome client to use

huh? FTP is oldschool but it's still very widely used. Not everything needs encryption and FTP does what it was designed to do very well.

FileZilla has both an FTP client and server. They also support FTP over SSL (FTPS) and SSH FTP (SFTP). It's free and you can check it out at:

It has been around for a long time and is very stable.

    Hi,

From experience I can't tell you that one the best FTP software is CuteFTP or SmartFTP, for example I am using SmartFTP ( I still believe that CuteFTP is the most user friendly ) and you can find them if you want to download them here: http://www.downloadbestsoft.com/Windows-Utilities.html
