KB944338 won't load

You may come across a problem applying the MS patch KB944338. The OS is XP SP2 and IE is 7.0

The solution is to update your MS scripting to v5.7

Then it doesn't offer you the update anymore

I am not certain, but I think that it is something to do with IE 7.0 ?

Must be because I was able to get it.

I did find that this past week's updates trashed my XP SP2 Desktop (didn't update the laptop). Thankfully, Last Known Good worked.
