Received 3 rar files via email ?
Hi,
They are supposed to be pictures, but they end with .rar, and when I opened one of them, it opened a text in notepad, can someone tell me what they really are?

The .rar indicates that the file is compressed, similar to .tar or .zip using the Roshal ARchive methodology.
You would need to use a decompression tool to extract the files. They are actually .jpg picture files.
I ran one through VirusTotal and it came back with 0 detections out of 32 different malware detectors tried.
It sounds as if you don't have a decompression tool, or, if you do, files with a .rar extension are not associated with it?

You can get WinRar there. Its an evaluation copy but ive been using it for a year now ...
