PGP Signatures in forum messages?
I've been seeing people using those PGP signatures at the end of their forum posts for message boards that don't let you register.
How do you verify this signature quickly and easily?
i just don't get how it works for forum messages because they aren't encrypted like an encrypted email message.
i really appreciate the help.

You don't need to encrypt something to digitally sign a message.

thanks for you're reply, that wiki link you gave me helped me a bit more i think
are you saying that i can write a forum post in plain text, then give it to PGP/GPG or whatever and it'll sign it using my "key"?
