Actually, traditional antivirus products are not very effective against fringe malware such as adware, spyware and scareware.Hi googlistics, I would suggest you to download an anti-virus software, a free one or a trial version. Both will help you out.
There are specialist applications that stand a better chance and after that specialist tools.
Well, the earlier version isn't supported so that isn't to be recommended.but take my advice and don't download the latest version of AVG because it's crap!! so not worth having it although it's the latest version

Just disable the AVG toolbar and LinkScanner.
