maybe visit this website http://forum.doom9.org it's a actual website dedicated to this kind of activity.

Also i would be careful when asking how to "Pirate" etc CD's DVD's etc etc, you might get a harsh response.

    Aren't all DVD's "write protected"? Unless they're DVD-R?

I'm sure you mean copy protected?

there are many forums for illegal activities but those all are band here

how to "Pirate" etc CD's DVD's etc etc
i am not ask how do pirate a DVD or CD but my question was more about keeping the knowledge of how is actually copy write installed and how does this toothpaste and black marker thing works

arent all DVD write protected unless it is DVD-R
DVD - R has nothing to do with copy protected

for making a DVD copy protected they use CSS method or encryption to make it a copy protected

DVD - R , DVD + R , DVD +/-R , this are all different kind of DVD's and nothing to do with copy protected

    Cool

U are asking how to beat Copy Protection on a DVD.

so the only reason why i can see that you'd need to beat the copy pretection is so that you can either "image" the disc or to copy it onto another blank dvd disc and sell it or something...

The url i gave you a few posts up would be the best place to ask your question, as they specialise in that area.

there are a heap of threads already there similar to your question maybe go have a actual read and you will find ur answer to your question.

not so quick in calling it piracy

Actually, under fair use you are allowed to make archival copies of programs, movies, music etc.

As long as only one copy is in use at any particular moment you haven't violated anyone's copyright or cheated them out of money.

That said, it should be illegal to copy protect anything, unless the distributer is willing to provide free replacement copies in case of damage to the original media.

    direct hit:

Dump windows or mess around with the mult-media programs located on any Linux live-cd.

Sheeps always think somebody is out to get him. Your average cop wouldn't even know how to log into linux.
