Who reads the New Yorker? I had this attached picture for a while. Don't you dare distribute it...it's copyrighted. It's worth a thousand words but what is it saying and how did it ever reach this point.
That sort of stuff is more "British" than "American" I think............ we have a number of publications that do that sort of thing from time to time (or all the time in the case of Private Eye).
It sells copies and generates publicity............. and hopefully new subscribers? That is magazine marketing, and has been for years.
