I hope some one here can help me with this.
I installed TightVNC on one of my computers behind my router, I just got an iPhone and installed Mocha vnc lite on it. I can connect to the the computer form inside my network but not from the outside.
I followed the instructions to forward ports on my Linksys wrt 160n router from http://portforward.com/english/route.../Tight_VNC.htm
At first I thought it might be a 3g problem, but I walked to the end of the block and connected to an open wifi spot and still could not connect to the computer from the outside.
I tried turning off the routers firewall, and unchecked Filter Anonymous Internet Requests and Filter Internet NAT Redirection, and still no go....
What am I doing wrong here?
Other than the obvious security implications....
PS... no firewall on computer I'm trying to connect to.
