OK -After actually reading what I must do I entered my name and email (that is all - no long forms) and I recived an email with an activation code for 12 month subscription. It seems this is true , so get downloading. I suppose they will hit you with the renewal in a year. Think of it as a 1 year trial :P Nice of them. Thanks.

On the other hand I have an Av package running at home, its a suite so firewall is included, however Zonealarm Pro is much better obviously with more configuration etc. So my question is, leave the AV on and disable the firewall component and run ZA in conjunction. I have a decent machine so resources shouldnt be a problem. Too much security?

    Comments, thanks.

Sort of misses the point I think. Zone Alarm Pro is just the standard firewall offering with anti-spyware and phishing added on. You would need the full security suite to get AV.

Anybody going to say that Linux doesn't need a firewall?
