    cleaner keyboard and mouse?

Not sure if this is hardware or technical humour

It is an article about gadgets. The one I particularly like is the keyboard and mouse you can put in your dishwasher

And they are actually not that expensive in comparison to other keyboards. And as silly as it may sound to you, I can see a practical need for it: medical facilities where computer is stored in a surgery area; burn patients to have a keyboard to use; classrooms (do you know how much coffee, red bull and other stuff is spilled daily?!).

I agree entirely MsM, which is why I put it in hardware rather than humour. If it is waterproof it will be dust and crap proof as well?

I can see applications in garages, engineering machine shops, construction sites and all sorts of places which have a "hostile environment"

Public keyboards are gross. They should make a keyboard with a built in hand sanitizer pump. I work at a school, and have seen tons of kids coughing and sneezing on keyboards... I try to do as much as I can remotely from my system.

Looks good to me, especially at that price.

If you follow the link that CSR kindly posted, you will see that there is a little lanyard attached to the USB plug. I think that you will find that it has a rubber cap attached to it to seal the USB plug. I have some rubberised Maxell USB stick drives that have that feature.

    Anyhow back onto topic.

I do wonder just how durable they would be, i mean wouldn't the wiring etc get damaged eventually from all the wear 'n tear that it would get submitted to.

I wonder if left in a car on a really really hot day if it would work afterwards.?
