Bash whois AOl.com
I ran whois on aol.com in my bash term and the most odd
thing came up:Whois Server Version 2.0
Domain names in the .com and .net domains can now be registered
with many different competing registrars. Go to http://www.internic.net
for detailed information.

AOL.COM.DOIT2WIN.COM
AOL.COM.COLLEGELEARNER.COM
AOL.COM.AINT.GOT.AS.MUCH.FREE.PORN.AS.SECZ.COM

This is only n my bash term if go to any whois web site or use dig i get current info i was just playing with this bash terminal on my mac figuring it all out i just wondering if anybody else got this

I am getting the same results for aol.com as well as similar results for other domains. e.g. ibm.com.
In God We Trust....Everything else we backup.

Same here.. Try google.com
It's a 'feature' of the whois command. It actually searches for aol.com*
