    Smile Obama Worm

No, that was not a political comment

A new worm has been found that sticks a picture of Obama in the bottom right corner of your screen.

"There's some chance one of your students wrote it. Find your smartest, geekiest, dweebiest kid, and look hard at him. Remember, the geek shall inherit the earth."
Maybe Obama will make an exception for Gitmo?

I am sure GWB would consider it most malicious software

I would have put that picture of him topless!

The sad thing is that if they catch the poor kid they will probably crucify or at least hang, draw and quarter him?

In a way he has done a service? after all it does not seem to produce instability, has no malicious payload, and demonstrates that you have a security problem. It could easily have been something very different

Not the way to do it, I agree, but it does seem to be a harmless prank, and I would certainly cut him a lot of slack if caught.

    Hey JPNyc,

Why do you think I posted it

I am not the po-faced bastige that most members seem to think I am?

It kind of goes with my Texas roadsign post?

OK LOL you win that one. I mean I guess nothing that's done by force is really funny, but at least this falls short of any reasonable definition of maliciousness. Still, I don't think I would be as amused if it happened to my computer

    Hmmmm,

I wonder if the kid was taking a pop at his peers?

    "I have a 32Gb usb drive"
"Yeah, and it has my virus on it"

    Unhappy

Funny but yet effective. If anything like my school days, the teacher won't snitch on you but will turn you into a teacher's pet
