    Outlook 2007 best practices

    Hey Guys,

Alright we run exchange here with Outlook 2007 on all machines. My machine is XP.

We store our mail locally in a PST.

Ive noticed that outlook is taking quite a while to sync / boot-up and is starting to hang.

What is best practise here to minimize outlook booting so long, eating memory and just being a pain to search through emails?

    I assume I should auto-archive?

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

It wasn't set to exchange mode in the account settings on my PC. I have now set it to that ...
