    Try a hardware reset - the process varies depending on the model. See this page;
    http://www.command-tab.com/2006/03/3...ipod-commands/ and click hard reset.

    This will completely wipe anything on the iPod. Once the hardware reset has been done, "restore" your ipod through the latest itunes.

    Failing this, from the error message in your post above, perhaps the solid state drive is faulty?

    LOL - Ive never owned an iPod or mp3 player of any kind, but have had to help friends with them in so many circumstances.... no more than 5 or 6 buttons and an extremely basic interface and yet end users still have trouble.

    Hi CybertecOne

    Thanks a lot for a reply

    perhaps i was able to upload song but in a different way

    i formatted the Ipod without openning the Ipod in Itune and i used autofill in it and the songs were uploaded

    but after today i tried resetting the Ipod still it didn't worked in the device manager it says as unknown device and instead of a orange blinking light the green light comes which is the signal for charging

    and the orange blinking light is the signal for uploading the song which comes in the start will recognizing the hardware and then it shifts to green light

    I hope there is other way for that to be fixed
    regards

    Hardware reset the ipod in the way I mentioned in my last post.

    Then launch iTunes > Connect iPod

    Hopefully iTunes will recognise your device (ignore windows device manager for the moment). If iTunes does not recognise your device - try it on another computer if possible to rule out your computer/usb ports.

    If iTunes recognises your device then use the "restore" function which is where the 'sync now' button is.....

    let me know how you go and how far you get
