I am back - web filtering issue

    Hey dudes,

We use a hardware device which uses the cobain web filtering. It was picking up Antionline as an anonymous proxy, took me a week to get it recategorized ...

Anyhow, sorry if I didnt reply to posts.

    Anyone else use Cobain?

www.cobian.com if the URL doesnt come out right.

Hmm... does that web filter take the shotgun approach?

    Was that wrong? Too soon?

On topic, no I dont use cobain - however I imagine AO was being picked up as an Anonymous proxy due to the protocols used on the site (with the adverts/links etc) and most likely with the number of connections to the site? Clearly there was something causing the issue - but glad you now have it sorted
