waaaay to many features that i'm not interested in, i like it minimalistic.

anyhow i downloaded it, installed it, and have been using it for the last few days now.

I got tired of searching around for adblocking for it so i had to dust of my old copy of proxomitron and use that to filter my interwebz.

So far it's not doing to good on the check list i made prior to installing..

4 more days and it will be decision time on wether or not i keep using it or i uninstall it and continue calling it the sissy girl browser.

Errr, I made a joke about how you said since Opera is a minority that it was a bitch for Firefox. I took the word minority from the market share (Opera is the minority compared to IE and Firefox for example, which are the majority). See?

Just wondering if the following statement is accurate, anyone:

Internet Explorer - Loads of updates, largely compatible and security is OK
Firefox - Regular updates, compatible but with some exceptions, security is better than IE
Opera - Less frequent updates, less compatible than both IE and FF and security is between FF and IE ...

I find that web browsers are like the decor of a house or the colour of an outfit.... they all function just fine, but it usually boils down to personal taste and experience.

I find it doubtful. The most secure program is always the one the fewest people use, and in this case that would be opera.

And yes, I agree, for the most part it's all about personal preference. There are very few hard differences between them.

Hmmm firefox, sounds like that same marketing gimmick where the software promised to increase the amount of hardware RAM in the machine.. Hmmmm

Now this is a proof of disgusting programing standards! While one thread about new version isn't over, there is a new firefox upgrade available!

Honestly, I really wonder how many members here even consider "firefox" a decent browser!

I would rather surf with IE6 (unpatched)
