Heads up - juniper issues security alert.

    Hi all,
Its been a long time but just a little heads up for any people running junos routers in their networks. Juniper issued a secuirty alert last week:

Also if you are running AIS scripts on the router to be upgraded they should be de-installed before the upgrading or the upgraded routing engine will reboot but not charge the cofiguration file of the router. In system where you have a master and backup routing engine to resolve the issue you just need to force a sync of the configuration from the master. I havent tried to see what happens if you only have one routing engine .

    Your welcome ByTeWrangler,
We have a long week ahead of us here. just a quick note the AIS issue i confirmed on a T1600 and a T640. It may not be an issue on other platforms. Still if you reload and the routing engine is amnesic (only able to log in with the root/no password) then that is probably the problem.
