    Twitter to begin screening some links for phishing


    Twitter launched a new link-screening service on Tuesday aimed at preventing phishing and other malicious attacks against users of the popular microblogging service.

    Really it's about time they started doing more pro-active steps.

    The Hak5 podcast had Robin Wood on recently talking about doing command and control through twitter, and other social networking sites. If I remember correctly, he presented on it at Shmoocon. I wonder if some of these methods would catch that sort of activity as well....
