Hey guys I had found this program that takes the out put of a random number gen and then it gives you the stats on how good the generator is the only problem with it is it seems to kinda sucks at what it dose lol.. any way I was just wondering if any one knew of any other programs or any thing that can check for the quality of a random number gen.

A simple script should be able to do it. Constrict the random number generator to a range (say 1 to 1,000,000) and map each number to the number of times the random number generator produces that number. Run this for a while so you get an accurate data set. See if there is any clumping or certain numbers being selected more than others.
Though looking at the source/reverse engineering the algorithm to see how they are producing the pseudo-random numbers is the best way.

This may help?
Trinity College, University of Dublin, Ireland.
It has lots of info on random items including tests for random numbers. And even a Dilbert cartoon
If you Google the list of tests on the page I have linked, you will probably find that people have written applications for them.
