windows search 4.0
Hello, running windows 7 enterprise 32 bit with outlook 2010.
Within outlook there is an option to "upgrade" your search which sends you to a windows search 4.0 page for vista sp1.
I cant seem to find one for windows 7 , am I going mad? :P

Hey Cider, my old machine is running Windows 7 enterprise 32 bit with office 2010 (inc Outlook 2010)
Isn't the Windows Search 4.0 by default on 7 :S "or for some weird reason yours isn't? p.s. provide with more information or anything else I do help just ask I see Microcrap have bugs already in 2010. I am kind of lazy just leave it to autmatically update.
Oh sometimes I love the Search but it's annoying at hell, when complains about non-index locations. Just find my files god dam you!!!

I'm running win 7 64-bit professional and can use windows desktop search for email when I press the Windows Key and F or From search box in explorer. You can limit the search scope to email by entering kind:email. I'm still running Office 2007 which is limited to outlook search. I use the call to windows desktop search often to find mails since I find outlook search to be very poor. I wish it was integrated better.
Cheers,
