Microsoft Outlook on Exchange 2003 Server
I have a problem with a meeting room resource on Outlook 2003 - Exchange 2003 - Basically I change the meeting to busy option and immediately it returns to free.
I have tried deleting the outlook profile and recreating it, and I have tried the clean Free busy switch. Everything I have tried doesn't seem to work.
The only thing I haven't tried and I am going to try that now is creating a test resource.
Any advice would be greatly appreaciated.
The network is Windows 2003 - I have tried from a XP Client and a Windows 2003 Server client on Terminal server.

Sounds like a permissions issue...check the security\permissions on the resource.

I would try to replicate it in OWA first...if that doesn't work or offer any clues try this: Outlook, Tools, Options, Calendar Options, Free/Busy Options....change the Publish Option to 36 months and apply. Open Outlook from the RUN line with outlook /cleanfreebusy. Good Luck........

Well it seems to have started working all of sudden, the only think I done apart from trying from other clients.
Maybe the cleanfreebusy switch worked. I don't know.
Should have tried the OWA part.
The permission shouldn't have changed though, I tried it directly from the resource rather then the delegate and the resource also had the issue.
Thanks for information though
