Might check and see if there is some type of removable media (like a USB flash drive, ir a SD card) plugged in to it somewhere. If so, the computer may be trying to boot from it instead of the hard drive.

After this it will power off again and be stuck in an endless loop.

Two reasons:
- Your thermal isolation in your processor in getting worn out - time for the new one $20
- Your BIOS battery is flat/dead
