I prefer Firefox because it reads and supports a lot of things and because there are a lot of great add-ons to extend functionality and to shape browsing experience according to your needs (very user friendly and good looking).
Opera however seems to be the fastest and the most stable browser - for ex. html and jquery rendering on website pages is a lot faster and smoother than in FF (in case of having a lot of elements and effects).

To each their own eh? I use Firefox and Chrome all day, everyday, and IE, Seamonkey and K-Meleon occasionally.

To be honest, I used to switch between FF and Chrome a lot. I found that videos loaded so much quicker on FF for some reason, and required less updates.
